Fisheries
The Fisheries issue category measures the health and sustainability of the world’s fisheries. It is made up of four indicators: fish catch discarded, fish caught by bottom trawling and dredging (domestically and across the global ocean), and the marine trophic index.
Note: Landlocked countries are not scored on this issue category. Weight assigned to the Fisheries issue category is reapportioned to other issue categories within the Ecosystem Vitality policy objective.
